Expiration of .EU domain name

After the .EU domain name has expired, the domain is put into quarantine for 40 days.
During the quarantine, the domain is not active – the website and email associated with the domain do not work.
Domain can still be reactivate during this period.

Once the 40 day quarantine period has passed, the domain names are released and can be registered by anyone on a “first come, first served” basis.

Renewal of expired domain

In order to reactivate an expired domain go to Zone website click on My Zone button and log in with your ZoneID user credentials. Click on the Domains section on the services overview page. In the My Domains section, you can see the domains associated with this account. To reactivate an expired domain, click Renew next to the domain name. The next step is to choose the number of years you want to renew the domain for and confirm the order. It will be processed once the invoice is paid and payment has been received in the Zone system. Any already submitted orders and generated invoices will be displayed in the Orders section.

Attention!

If you choose to pay via bank link or using a credit card, then the payment will arrive in our system within 15 minutes. If you you wish to pay by a simple bank transfer, then the payment will arrive during next business day. When paying by bank transfer, we strongly recommend adding the domain name and the invoice number into “details”. We would also ask you to definitely add a reference number.
