According to ICANN rules changing any of the following domain contact information is considered an ownership change:
- contact person name
- registrant’s name
- company’s name
- email address
You can change the contact information in My Zone via Domain management. Choose the preferred domain and click on the pencil icon under “Domain contacts”.
Once you’ve changed the information, verification emails are sent to the current and new owner’s contact email address. Both parties must verify the change via the verification link!
The verification link will be valid for 15 days! If the change is not verified, the previous ownership will remain and change will be cancelled.
